ON TELEVISION

Girovagando in Trentino is a television show that is produced by Tandem Publicity srl in Trento, Italy and is broadcast through the entire Mediterranean Basin via Hot Bird Satellite (SKY platform) and airs in northern and central Italy by local broadcast networks.

Luciano Da Canal, creator and star of the show, has hosted Girovagando for over 18 years with resounding success.  The formula has remained true to his original concept: nature, art, culture, sport, and wine and food,  "wandering around" in the most beautiful valleys of the Trentino region.  The program lasts about 25 minutes and is aired weekly in 5 distinct cycles: Spring (4 episodes), Summer (12 episodes), Autumn (4 episodes), Pre-Winter (4 episodes) and Winter (12 episodes) for a total of 36 episodes a year.

ON THE INTERNET

Since 2001, Girovagando in Trentino is now also a portal on the internet, providing summaries of all of its previously-aired episodes, including text, photographs, news, addresses and in-depth details.  Currently, the site contains over 300 episodes for a total of more than 1200 pages, 27,000 images, 80 in-depth summaries, 150 panoramic photographs, and audio and video documents.  The entire site takes up approximately 1,3 GB and is updated every week by Alessandro Ghezzer, who also maintains all of the site's contents.  From September 2007, all the episodes are available online in  two video formats: integrated and streaming.  The show also has an active web-tv, Girovagando channel, which transmits 24 hours a day, airing documentaries and institutional videos.

WHAT DO WE DO?

In agreement with the various agencies, public and private entities, associations, etc, a tourism documentary on local attractions in the region is created in one or more days by an experienced team of professionals implementing videocameras in BETACAM, DVCAM and MiniDV formats, set lights, and radio-microphones.  Every episode that has aired on television is amply documented on their site in a complete summary including text, photographs, news, links, and useful addresses in addition to the integrated and streaming video. This service includes the possibility of creating photo ops, print material, editorials, documentaries,  and television and radio spots.
