Beyond the technical knitting skills and knowledge that she will teach you, Sally's favorite part of her work is stimulating discussion, challenging basic assumptions, and teaching us the value of being creative. She  stresses the importance of using our hands, and celebrates the experience of simply paying attention to life.

For Sally's workshop, we have added a fun, new, exclusive twist on our knitting vacations in the Italian Alps! Our intimate group of knitters will be the special guests of the Fontana family, hosted at their legendary Caffe Col/Maso Col.  This charming, cozy hotel is situated right next door to the family's farmhouse on the property of their historical malga (high mountain dairy) on the outskirts of San Martino di Castrozza. Caffe Col - Maso Col is situated at the base of the famous Pale di San Martino mountain chain and is surrounded by beautiful meadows dotted with grazing cows complete with tinkling cowbells. The owner, Francesca, is an avid knitter herself, and is excited to host our group! The hotel is comprised of only 8 rooms (15 student spots maximum for this workshop), so our group will have the entire place to ourselves...a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a truly exclusive knitting experience!
