The Alpine Adventure Agency is pleased to have been chosen by the United States, Canadian and South African Teams as their official trip organizer for the 2009 Junior World Orienteering Championships to be held in the Primiero Valley located in the Italian Dolomites. We also were chosen by the JWOC committee to organize and oversee departure transportation for most of the teams in attendance. We welcome the entire global orienteering family and are looking forward to meeting you all this coming summer.
This page is intended as a point of reference that will be updated regularly and will include current news concerning JWOC 2009, a list of services and packages we offer and a list of helpful hints/ tips and links to make your trip and stay here with us as comfortable and seamless as possible. Our menu of services include:
- Securing accomodations.
- Arranging transportation to and from your point of arrival to the Primiero Valley and San Martino di Castrozza.
- We are offering a special one-day bus tour of the most beautiful Dolomitic passes on your day off/ sightseeing break, which is Wednesday, July 8, 2009. Please click here to see package details and prices.
- Private transportation during your week here should you decide not to purchase the bus pass offered by the hosting club.
- Round-trip transportation to grocery stores where you can buy your groceries in bulk for the week.
- Translation services between English and Italian.
