"SIPPING WITH THE SOMMELIERS!" ™

Our signature wine degustation series, "Sipping with the Sommeliers," is offered on request and also as an optional mini-package during any of our highly acclaimed cooking vacations included in our International Cooking School Series.

During our 10-day, all-inclusive Tyrolean Cooking Vacation, which will take place in the Italian Alps and Venice on August 29-Sept 7, 2010, these sessions take place at dinner, when Sommeliers Gianluca Rimondi (owner of "La Canisela") and Carlo Squillaci (maître d'hôtel of the Grand Hotel Des Alpes) lead students and their companions through a palate-pleasing degustation of regional, doc wines paired with each course prepared earlier during your six formal cooking lessons in the kitchen with Master Executive Chef Giuseppe Cavallari at the Grand Hotel Des Alpes and La Canisela Restaurant.  A minimum of three wines will be presented per meal for a total of a minimum of 18 wines throughout your culinary vacation.
